The 25 members of the Osun State House of Assembly have dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the August 15 governorship election in the state.
The lawmakers, who are loyalists of Governor Ademola Adeleke, have reportedly joined the Accord Party.
Confirming the defection through a social media post, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Duties and Protocol, Omofadipe Olawale, wrote:“Breaking News: 25 Osun PDP Lawmakers Dump Party, Join Accord.
