“Every vision deserves a run. Life is a race. We start the race by grace, continue by grace, and end the race by grace” – 2 Timothy 4:7. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Grace – Hebrews 10:29.

Throughout last month, we engaged in divine direction; now it is time to engage the help of the Holy Spirit towards fulfilling destiny.

Pastor Oluseyi Adekunle, State Pastor of Living Faith Church (Winners), Oke-Onitea, Òṣogbo, made this statement on Sunday, 5th October 2025, during the first service tagged Next Level Banquet, which also doubled as the monthly entrance service. He ministered on the teaching series “Engaging the Help of the Holy Spirit Towards Fulfilment of Destiny – Part 1a”, in line with the prophetic focus for the month of October themed “My Dependable Destiny Helper is Here” – John 14:16–18.

Pastor Adekunle emphasised that it is not about the lampstand or the candlestick, but the oil in the lamp, as the lamp represents the Spirit of God. It is by the Holy Spirit that a believer manifests the fulfilment of destiny (Zechariah 4:1–6).

Explaining who the Holy Spirit is, he referenced 1 John 5:7, saying the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, the secretary of the Trinity (Isaiah 34:16), as everything that comes out of the mouth of the Father and the Son in a meeting is gathered by the Holy Spirit. He creates three copies, giving one to the Father, one to Jesus, and keeping one for Himself, because He is the one who empowers believers to fulfil destiny. Where you are now is not by your power but by the Holy Spirit.

Highlighting the office of the Holy Spirit, he stated that the Holy Spirit empowers us with the spirit of faith, as “the just shall live by his faith” (Acts 24:14), because without faith it is impossible to please God. The Holy Spirit is our seal of protection; after salvation, the Holy Spirit seals a believer for protection (Ephesians 1:13) to fulfil destiny. The Holy Spirit also baptises us with His Spirit (John 3:5) and enlists believers for kingdom service in God’s house (Psalm 75:7).

Speaking on the Sunday theme tagged Next Level Banquet, Pastor Adekunle explained that only the living can experience the next level, but not everyone can partake in the Next Level Banquet except those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and surrendered their lives to His lordship.

“You are living in fear; you don’t have peace. I am calling on you today – do you want to take part in the Next Level Banquet? Then give your life to Christ and surrender your totality to Him.”

He notes that the One who designed purpose (Genesis 6:3) also designed time, and this is the time for you to engage the Holy Spirit towards the fulfilment of destiny. He is ready to protect you until the covenanted time of 120 years.
