We are called into a glorious destiny, as stated in Romans 8:29–32. However, such glory often attracts enemies (Ephesians 1:13), and the only one who can grant true freedom is Jesus, through the in-deed of His body and blood.

Pastor Oluseyi Adekunle, State Pastor of Living Faith Church (Winners), Oke-Onitea, Òṣogbo, made this statement on Sunday, 12th October 2025, during the second service tagged Freedom Banquet service, which also doubled as the monthly communion service. He ministered on the teaching series titled Engaging the Help of the Holy Spirit Towards Fulfilment of Destiny – Part 2b, in line with the prophetic focus for the month of October themed My Dependable Destiny Helper is Here – John 14:16–18.

Pastor Adekunle emphasised that it is very essential to have access to wisdom, and one of the ways to gain wisdom is to receive counsel from a teaching priest, as the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of guidance and counsel.

Explaining who the Holy Spirit is, he referenced Isaiah 11:1–2, saying that the Holy Spirit empowers believers for enthronement, as He is the Spirit of wisdom—and it takes wisdom to reign and be enthroned (Proverbs 8:16).

Highlighting how to access wisdom, he mentioned that wisdom can be accessed through new birth (salvation), constant study of God’s Word, and asking for the infilling of the Holy Spirit (Proverbs 17:28).

Speaking on the Sunday theme, Freedom Banquet service, Pastor Adekunle explained that to live permanently in freedom and remain set free, one must be born again, live in the fear of God (John 8:36), and crave the Spirit of revelation to understand what God is doing per time and season in one’s life (Isaiah 1:18). He added that one must also determine to stay in love with God to access the deep things of God (John 14:21, Exodus 23:25).

He noted that the communion table holds the key to freedom, as the blood is the in-deed of one’s freedom (John 8:36).
