“The Holy Spirit is not only a destiny helper; He is a dependable destiny helper, and He is readily available to give you supernatural turnaround.”
Pastor Michael Obidiya, Associate Pastor of Living Faith Church (Winners), Oke-Onitea, Òṣogbo, made this statement on Sunday, 19th October 2025, during the first service tagged Supernatural Turnaround Banquet Service, which also doubled as the monthly Anointing Service. He ministered on the teaching series, “Engaging the Help of the Holy Spirit Towards Fulfilment of Destiny – Part 3a,” in line with the prophetic focus for the month of October themed “My Dependable Destiny Helper is Here” – John 14:16–18.
Pastor Obidiya emphasised that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of glory who eradicates challenges and mountains, turning them into miracles. He explained that the Holy Spirit helped Jesus during His wilderness experience, enabling Him to overcome and return in power. He further described the Holy Spirit as a destiny arranger who brought destiny disciples to Jesus immediately after He left the wilderness, shaping the fulfilment of His destiny.
Explaining who the Holy Spirit is, he referenced Isaiah 11:1–2, saying the Holy Spirit engages the instrument of the spirit of wisdom to empower believers with supernatural intelligence, which encompasses the spirit of wisdom and understanding (Acts 4:13).
He also highlighted that the Holy Spirit makes one a wonder through the instrument of wisdom (Psalm 104:24), noting that when one lacks wisdom, there will be no result (James 1:5).
Speaking on the Sunday theme Supernatural Turnaround Banquet, he noted that one must live a life of joy to experience turnaround, as the Holy Spirit is the spirit of joy (Isaiah 12:3), and joy is essential to encounter the spirit of wisdom.
He concluded by stating that the Anointing Oil carries the spirit of God, passing on generational enthronement and supernatural restoration, which ultimately leads to a turnaround.
