The Osun State House of Assembly is set to receive the Executive Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for the official presentation of the 2026 draft budget before the lawmakers.
The announcement was made during the House plenary session on Tuesday, 11th November 2025, following the reading of an official letter from the Governor to the Assembly.
The letter, read by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, informed members of Governor Ademola Adeleke readiness to appear before the Assembly to present the government’s financial proposals for the 2026 fiscal year budget. It reads:
“I am pleased to inform Mr Speaker and the distinguished members of the Osun State House of Assembly of my intention to lay the 2026 Draft Budget Estimates of the State before the House on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, having concluded its preparation and obtained approval from the State Executive Council.”
