The Osun State House of Assembly has passed the 2026 Appropriation Bill after careful consideration and it scaled its third reading.
The motion for the third reading was moved by the Chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Hon. Olumide Fatunmise, after which the bill was taken and approved by lawmakers.
A total budget estimate of ₦723,454,988,670 was approved by the Assembly for the 2026 fiscal year.
Following the passage, the number one lawmaker of the OSHA declared that a clean and final copy of the bill would be prepared and forwarded to the Governor of the State for assent.
After the conclusion of legislative business, the Assembly adjourned plenary and proceeded on recess.
