Emirates Airline has suspended all flights to and from Dubai indefinitely following ongoing airspace closures across parts of the Middle East.

The airline announced the development on Friday, attributing the decision to safety concerns arising from rising regional tensions and restrictions affecting several international flight routes.

In a statement posted on its official social media platform, the carrier urged passengers not to proceed to the airport while the situation remains under review.

“All flights to and from Dubai have been suspended until further notice. Please do not go to the airport. Updates will be communicated as soon as they become available,” Emirates airline said.

The airline also appealed for understanding from travellers affected by the disruption, assuring customers that it was closely monitoring developments in the region.

“We appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers as we continue to assess the evolving situation,” the statement added.

Earlier travel advisories had indicated that commercial flight operations would be halted until 11:59 p.m. (UAE time) on March 7. However, the latest announcement extends the suspension indefinitely as authorities evaluate security conditions across the region.

Airlines operating within the Middle East have recently been forced to review flight schedules, reroute aircraft, or temporarily suspend operations due to airspace restrictions linked to heightened military activity and security concerns.
