The ongoing Board of Trustees meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) turned violent when some members of the party attacked former Youth Leader Sunday Ude-Okoye, who has been presenting himself as National Secretary, and forced him out of the meeting.
Ude-Okoye was reportedly attacked by some supporters of the embattled National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu.
There is currently a breakdown of law and order at the party’s National Headquarters, Wadata Plaza, in Abuja.
Ude-Okoye was seen shouting and instructing intimidating-looking individuals dressed in black to enter the meeting.
Meanwhile, personnel from the Nigerian Police, Department of State Security Services, and other agencies are attempting to restore order.
