Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has officially appointed Oluwatosin Adejumo, the puff-puff seller who recently went viral, as a chef at the Government House.

On Friday, photographs surfaced showing the governor presenting Adejumo with her appointment letter, marking the fulfillment of a pledge he made weeks earlier.

The gesture followed a viral clip from August 25, when Adeleke bought all the snacks from Adejumo’s tray for ₦50,000 during a rally in Osogbo.

In that video, the governor had invited the young woman into his vehicle, engaging her in a conversation about her education and culinary skills.

Adejumo, who is a holder of a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE), impressed Adeleke with details of her cooking abilities, which paved the way for the opportunity.

She has now resumed her new role at the Government House kitchen, symbolizing what many have described as a “grass-to-grace” story
