The Nigerian immigration service has cancelled visa on arrival for 117 countries excluding ECOWAS countries.
This is contained in a video on the official website of the Nigerian immigration service explaining the new rules, procedures and how to get aquinted to the digital system at the airport.
According to the video, NIS Halts Visa on Arrival, Introduces Nigerian Airport new immigration rules which takes effect from May 2025. This rules are set to eliminate delays at arrival and handwriting questionnaire fill at departure.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian immigration service has replaced the Visa-on-arrival with an E-Visa which has to be filled by 117 counties except ECOWAS countries.
