In compliance to the industrial action directed by the leadership of the Labour Movement on Monday, as schools, power stations and the Osun Government Secretariat in Osogbo, Osun State capital were all shut.
Meanwhile, within Osogbo, also observed that security operatives were deployed to Government Secretariat and Osogbo Regional Transmission Company.
Public schools were also shut and some pupils unaware of the strike before leaving home for school, were observed returning home around Powerline Area, Òṣogbo, while pupils attending private schools were seen in their schools as academic activities progressed unhindered.
Also at Osogbo Regional Transmission Company, workers shut the entrance to the premises.
