The Nigerian Police Force has reportedly arrested and detained former Presidential Candidate of African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore.
This is according to a statement issued by the Party signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Femi Adeyeye.
The statement read;
SOWORE DETAINED: THE TINUBU REGIME HAS FINALLY GONE ROGUE ON DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS.
The African Action Congress (AAC) strongly condemns the arrest and harassment of our National Leader and Presidential Candidate in the 2023 election, Comrade Omoyele Sowore. The Tinubu regime, using the illegal Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, continues to manipulate the instruments of State to hound radical opposition voices such as our leader’s.
