Tinubu to meet Labour for minimum wage talks

President Bola Tinubu has invited the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress to a meeting at Aso Villa on Thursday, July 11, to discuss the Federal Government’s decision on a new national minimum wage.

TUC President Festus Osifo confirmed the meeting on Thursday, July 10.

The President is expected to decide on the ₦62,000 proposal from the government and private sector, as well as the ₦250,000 demand from Organized Labour.
